Shops, caf\u00e9s and small local businesses animate the centre and the hillside villages, creating an inviting and convivial atmosphere. Viareggio presents itself with a completely renewed look. The 2025 illuminations\u2014expanded and redesigned\u2014light up not only the Promenade but also the districts of Marco Polo, Darsena and Torre del Lago. Elegant, creative, lively and authentic: Versilia offers a rich and complete Christmas experience. From the refined lights of Forte dei Marmi to the warm villages of Camaiore, from the art of Seravezza to the vibrancy of Viareggio, all the way to the luminous charm of Pietrasanta.
The showcase brings together twelve artists who, over the years, have collaborated with the historic Viareggio-based gallery, active since 1996. Tuscan and Ligurian painters narrate the evolution of contemporary figurative art through a variety of styles and expressive languages.
Curated by Gianni Costa and held in collaboration with Fondazione Terre Medicee, the exhibition is open from 29 November to 11 January. As tradition dictates, the annual desk calendar inspired by the exhibition has also been produced\u2014a well-loved object among art enthusiasts.
