THE 16TH FIAIP NATIONAL CONGRESS OPENS IN RICCIONE

The 16th FIAIP National Congress officially opened today, October 2, 2025, at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Riccione. This is the most important event organized by the Italian Federation of Professional Real Estate Agents, gathering over 500 delegates from across Italy for three days of work sessions, strategic discussions, and vision-setting for the future of the real estate sector and the profession itself.

The Congress also marks a transition in leadership after eight impactful years under the presidency of Gian Battista Baccarini. A new chapter begins, centered on innovation, professional growth, and active dialogue with institutions and stakeholders.

BACCARINI: “FIAIP LOOKS AHEAD WITH STABILITY AND AMBITION”

“This Congress is a strategic moment for our entire profession,” said outgoing President Gian Battista Baccarini. “FIAIP today is a solid and credible organization, listened to by institutions and ready to innovate. I am confident that, with everyone’s involvement, the future will bring even more ambitious achievements, strengthening the image of our profession and the value of the Federation.”

INNOVATION, SKILLS, AND HOUSING ACCESS: THE KEY CHALLENGES FOR REAL ESTATE

The Congress agenda focuses on core issues shaping the future of the sector: digital transformation, artificial intelligence, new service models, and continuous professional training.
Special attention is being given to creating a more transparent, dynamic, and sustainable real estate market, capable of improving housing access for young people, families, and workers.

One of the main goals is also to reinforce the real estate and construction sector’s role as a key driver of economic growth and employment in Italy.

AN OPEN DIALOGUE WITH INSTITUTIONS AND STAKEHOLDERS

The Congress also offers an important opportunity for direct dialogue with institutions, political representatives, trade associations, and key stakeholders in the sector.
High-level speakers are expected to contribute to the debate and help outline the upcoming challenges and opportunities for the Italian real estate market.

The opening session includes welcome remarks from local authorities and representatives of leading regulatory and industry organizations.

THE NEW FIAIP PRESIDENT TO BE ELECTED

A key moment of the Congress will be the election of the new FIAIP National President and Executive Committee.
The sole candidate for the presidency is Fabrizio Segalerba, currently the Federation’s National Secretary, who is ready to take the lead and guide FIAIP into a new phase of growth and development.
