On Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30, the historic center of this Tuscan town will come alive, transforming into a sensory journey through the colors, aromas, and tastes of Versilia.
This event is more than just a showcase of local products: it’s a journey that tells the story of the land and those who cultivate it, where extra virgin olive oil, wine, honey, and organic zero-mile products become ambassadors of quality and tradition. Walking through Piazza XIX Maggio, Piazza San Bernardino, and Piazza Diaz, visitors can meet passionate producers, listen to their stories, and savor the finest expressions of the territory.
A contest for the best new olive oil
Among the most anticipated moments is the competition to select the best new olive oil from Versilia, Lunigiana, and Garfagnana. Experts from the Istituto Tecnico Agrario Busdraghi in Mutigliano will evaluate the samples submitted by producers by November 10, selecting those that will participate in a public panel test during the event. It’s a unique opportunity to explore the nuances of freshly pressed olive oil and appreciate the care, precision, and passion behind every bottle.

Prim’Olio Primovino is not only about tasting: for two days, the historic center becomes a vibrant stage for events and encounters.
